It’s that time of the year again.
Starting today, thousands of people will make their annual trek to the Minnesota State Fairgrounds to celebrate the changing of seasons by enjoying all things Minnesota.
Fairgoers will spend the next 12 days marveling at the latest in agriculture and food, enjoying rides and music, and – if we have our way – learning how health sciences programs at the U of M impact the world around us.
The Academic Health Center’s Health Zone will anchor the center of the University’s building with a rotating series of exhibitors and presenters each day of the Fair. Fairgoers will have the opportunity to participate in a wide-range of activities, including:
-Learning how to keep their pets healthy
-Exploring breakthroughs in neurosciences
-Advancing health care through participation in clinical trials
-Improving oral health.
Check back on the Health Talk blog for daily updates and more information on what exhibits and presenters will be showcased at the Health Zone
