From investigations into better food policy options to research tying artificially accelerated growth rates in swine to the composition of intestinal bacteria, the College of Veterinary Medicine is actively looking for ways to improve veterinary medicine.
To highlight their work, the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine will hold its annual Points of Pride Research Day on Wednesday, October 10.
From 1:30-5:30 p.m. at the Pomeroy Student-Alumni Learning Center students, faculty, staff and members of the general public are welcome to learn about ongoing research in veterinary medicine. Seminars will be presented by 2012 Distinguished Research Alumnus Award winner Dr. Ramesh Akkina and 2012 Distinguished Research Partner Dr. Randy Simonson of Newport Laboratories. Learn more
