The University of Minnesota and its home state have both been receiving acclaim as of late for superior health care delivered by some of the best clinical providers in the country.
Here’s a look at some of the latest rankings:
Last week, U.S. News & World Report released its annual “Best Hospitals” report and ranked the University of Minnesota Medical Center, Fairview (UMMC) and Amplatz Children’s Hospital nationally in 11 adult and six pediatric specialties, respectively. Hundreds of University of Minnesota Physicians clinical specialists provide care at UMMC and Amplatz every day.
The latest rankings position UMMC second among nearly 150 hospitals in the state of Minnesota and first within the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area.
